I purchased a Haier 0.7-cu ft Microwave from Walmart.com on July 4. The next day (July 5), I received a shipment notification from Walmart.com with a FedEx tracking number. After tracking this package for a few days and seeing that the status remained unchanged as "Shipment information sent to FedEx", it was obvious that this package has not moved and was not even in FedEx's posession. I called up Walmart.com, expecting them to admit that the package was lost in the mail or stolen from the Walmart.com warehouse and offer to ship me a replacement, as the item was still in stock on that date. They did admit that the package was lost in the mail, but they were unable to ship me a replacement until the Estimated Arrival Date has passed, which was set as July 12. When I called back on July 13 to have them send me the replacement package, I was informed that the item was now out of stock and there was nothing they can do about it except refund my purchase. Unfortunately I had paid with a gift card, which I then discarded because I had used up the full amount of the gift card. So now I am left with no microwave and no money.
