Pros: Decent sound from a speaker this small.
Simple Design is good for travelling.
Stylish.
Cons: Sound is sometimes distorted but you can't really expect too much from speakers this small.
The Bottom Line: Great package overall. stylish, compact, sturdy gadgetlike construction, decent sound and volume. Better than the si-5's in almost every way.

| esylee1's Full Review: Sony SRS-T77 Personal Travel Speakers |
I'd have to say i'm pretty happy with these speakers overall. Speakers and amp are connected creating one unit with minimal wires and it looks pretty stylish too. But i guess the most important thing is the sound, which i think is good relative to the competition. It was down to buying these or the Si-5's and i chose the sonys because they sounded much better overall(and louder) I have to say the si-5's did have a much clearer high end with much less distortion than the sony's but it's all about balance. The si-5's had absolutely no bass! None! So yeah, the si-5's have an very impressive and clear high end but with no bass to back it up the music sounds completely one dimensional and tinny. The sony's sound does have a little bass (actually pretty impressive bass for a 1.5 inch driver) and is simply more "full" although not as clear. The fact that they are louder than the si-5's doesn't hurt either. Don't get your hopes up though. These speakers do not sound as nice as any boombox and are likely to distort music high in bass like hip hop. But that's still better than no bass at all from the si-5's. For a portable set up this is a pretty cool little system. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to take their music on the road.
