The Samsung 15" SyncMaster 150MP LCD w/ TV Tuner is probably the most innovative and technology driven flat panel monitor out there today. No manufacturer has attempted to provide a monitor with such multifunctional capabilities to this date.

The 150MP offers a TV tuner (pal input-needs f-jack converter for use in the US), a set of video inputs, and audio output jacks. The Samsung design makes the monitor extremely portable and versitile. The generous 15" screen provides great detail compared to the relative LCD TV in the market today. Because Samsung's monitor is able to provide a monitor for your PC and is suppose to tune TV channels, the incredible pixel detail is greater than a regular LCD TV. However, the contrast ratio is a bit low. This is a downside if you view the monitor at various different angles. If you deviate +/- 15 degrees you may notice the screen to be either brighter or darker than expected. With an infrared sensor, you may also notice that the monitors brightness is very inconsistent. Another con are the base speakers. The sound quality provides mono tone sound, a lot less clear than those of a regular tv. However, you have the option of hooking up external speakers if desired.

Overall, you are getting a huge package for a small amount of dough. For approximately $650 you get a PC monitor, TV tuner, and entertainment center (able to hook up VCRs, DVD players, and game consoles) all in one. Samsung also manufactures a 17" version for those who want a large display. I would recommend this monitor for those who are looking for a portable flat panel monitor which has the capabilities of performing multiple functions without a hassle.
