I wanted to give my boyfriend his favorite "Low Rider" magazine(one year subscription) for his birthday, but the magazine was expensive. $4.99/per issue. The price of one year subscription offered by the publisher is $35. the lowest subscription price I found on the internet was $30. I once ordered it at $30 at other internet magazine store, but I was lucky that I chose my payment by check by mail then. Before I received a bill for $30 subscription from other store, I found Magazine Value site and I couldn't believe the price of Low Rider magazine. It's only $9.97!!!
I decided to order it immediately and paid by credit card.(then the bill from other store arrived shortly after that, I cancelled $30. subscription of course).
Their info said that it would take 30-(up to) 120 days for the delivery of first issue of magazine. Since the price was so cheap, I thought it might take 120 days to get the first issue, but my boyfriend got his first issue in about a month from the date I ordered it. If he buys the magazine at store every month, he has to pay $4.99/per issue plus tax(we're in Colorado. 7.3% tax in here) so it'll be about $5.50? and 12 times a year=$66.00!!! He can subscribe the magazine at Magazine values in the next 6 years with the money. It really was a huge saving.
Like the Cat Fancy person said, in exchange to the wonderful price, we just need to sign up for Magazine Value club(no fee, just give your name, address, e-mail etc..) and just read e-mail(once a week) from sponsors. If you are considering to subscribe a magazine, you should check this site and compare price to others. But I don't know about Cat Fancy... I am a reader of Cat Fancy too, and I ordered my Cat Fancy subscription at other magazine store on the internet. The price at the store was $14.99, but they offered me $5. rebate, so my price was $9.99 at other store. Anyway I recommend Magazine Values to everyone.
