Pros: Faster processor than my old Gateway
Cons: Windows Me? It's awful. Win95 was more stable.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy one. Lousy hardware that won't allow uninstall of Me or driver functionality to run Win 98. Daily lock up/hang times even after reformatting. Very disappointing.

| sanabo's Full Review: HP Pavilion 6735 PC |
For $435, this PC was a giveaway in the fall of 2000. The Operating System is garbage, I truly prefer the ideosyncracies of Win95 to this "wannabe" OS. It hangs and locks up daily. The "restore" function is BS.It simply doesn't work. Reformatting the drive helped for a few weeks. Somehow the BIOS or someting prevents you from running anything but Me. The Modem won't work with the older OS drivers either. It seems Microsoft knew folks would want to go back to an OS that worked (Win98) and engineered the software to prohibit it. I prefer my 1997 Gateway 200MMX to the HP any day. It was bullet proof (still is).Hewlett Packard? Never again, unless they trash Millenum Edition and install something that truly works. Yes, my gripe is with the OS - but that was all HP offered in this model, therefore, my problem is with the mfg.
