I am I VERY VERY disappointed and aggravated customer. Get ready for this great story.
I have been a faithful paying customer for 1 1/2 years Every 3 months we would go to the att service center near my house and renew the minutes on my cell phone so I would not lose service. It is 6 weeks after the last time we have paid for the service and I am out and I want to call me friends to see whats up for the night. Low and behold I get an ATT message basically telling me I am a new user. Thankfully I am near a pay phone and not stranded in my car in the middle of no where. I right away call my parents and tell them what is happening with my phone. Immediately the following day my parents went down to the store and inquired why I had suddenly lost my 120 mins I had remaining on my phone. WE were told that their policy had changed where you must update every 6 weeks not 3 months They said the only thing they could do for us was give us 71 minutes of service for the next six weeks. I am not totally mad about the 50 mins of service I lost I was mad about THE DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE WITHOUT NOTIFICATION AND NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES IN POLICIES!
I feel this is bad business and I would not recommend using this service to anyone. I am not stupid I know what a text message is and I never recieved one. These customer service managers were very rude and could not give the $20-$25 we were owed in lost minutes. $20-$25 they are too cheap to pay back! All because they cannot notify the paying customer of changes in service. We are being given the run around because it's against their policy. What's the name of the policy, "Screw the customer?!" I am so aggravated right now that we are treated like we are the ones at fault.I guess the customer is never right.
I sorry for rambling you do not know the anger I have right now, I could have been stranded on a back road and in need of help and the cell phone I am carrying in case of emergency and it would be useless. But they do not care and I am at fault not ATT!
Don't waste your time with a service who does not care for the customer. we only want back what we should have and it costs about $25, and they are too cheap to give it to us (and normally when they would not give you something they are telling you are at fault). If we were we told of changes in policy this would have never happened.
AVOID!!! NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE!
