Pros: PCS features included, great/flexible regional/nat'l plans, unsurpassed coverage, great customer service, free AIM service
Cons: Local/share plans aren't great b/c AT&T focuses on Regional/Nat'l plans and are better value

Hello jonbmw. I was wondering if you were employed by AT&T? I have used all the wireless carriers in the Raleigh area going back to 1993 and Sprint has the best value for the money. AT&T was horrible when I had it and I dumped it at the first opportunity. I am glad you area having good service but I am sad to say you are probably the exception to the rule.

I have been searching the net trying to find information on cellular service in the Raleigh/Durham area for weeks and finally chanced across your review. It was the most in-depth review of the major cellular services in this area that I have found in all my searching.
I had all but ruled out AT&T as an option because I thought I would not get good coverage in this area from them, but now I am going to try them out as my contract with Alltel is expiring in a week.
Thanks for a terrific review of ALL the major cellular services in this area!!
