I am a sales representative in Southern California, with a territory ranging 30 miles of the 210 Freeway. MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREA. It is virtually impossible to complete a conversation on this phone. I signed a one year contract and paid $100 for this phone (I'm on the hook for around $1000 for a year, with a $250 early cancellation) Can you say "rip-off"? I thought maybe I would minimize the hit by using the plan's free long distance at home, and not use my home phone long distance. That idea lasted two for two calls. Both people asked "What's wrong with your phone? It sounds terrible!!" Had to hang up and call them back to be understood. This all-digital scheme just plain does not work. The phone is unusable. As a minor, but irritating side note, the programming on this phone must have been done at the dawn of the digital age. Extremely clumsy and non-intuitive.
In summation: TOTAL JUNK. Not heavy enough for a boat anchor (close, though).
