Pros: Inexpensive, best chipset, nice features, expandability
Cons: No onboard video or LAN (not a big problem)
The Bottom Line: Inexpensive but NOT cheaply made. Great features and definitely worth the $99.

I recently upgraded to a faster cpu (Athlon 1900+) but when I installed it the computer became unstable. I diagnosed it as the old motherboard could no longer handle the fast cpu. I went to my local Fry's electronics (a superstore) and was faced with four options: this EPoX board for $99.99, the MSI board with almost identical specs for $129.99, the Soyo Dragon for $150 and the Asus for $159.99 Needless to say the MSI was ousted by the almost identical EPoX board.. but I really wanted the famous Soyo. I was broke so I purchased the EPoX with these specs:

When I booted up after installing this bad boy I liked what I saw... a nice BIOS creen, but mostly because it worked. It has more than enough expansion slots for anyone and supports the popular DDR Ram. I really liked the fact that it used the fastest chipset available, VIA's KT266A. I am extremely glad I purchased this, instead of the pricey Dragon or the even more expensive Asus. I anticipate this nifty little gadget will be my board for quite some time.
