Pros: They Only cost me 12 bucks
Cons: They sound terrible
The Bottom Line: They aren't expensive, so you won't be wasting much cash, but money is money, and I wouldn't fork out for these if they were 50 cents.

I recently purchased a sony discman, and unsatisfied with the headphones than came with it, I ventured forth to buy some new ones. I had read some good reviews of koss products on Epinions and so I bought the HP/3 headphones becuase they were cheap. I will describe them in a beautiful metaphor for you, becuase I'm no audiophile and I don't have terms to describe how awful they are. Basically, if the sony headphones sound like the front row of a concert, the koss Hp/3s sound like the very furthest recesses of the concert hall, i'd even go so far as to suggest that they sound like you are standing outside the door of the concert. They sound muffled, with no high end, and a low end that has no clarity. There is no soundstage to these headphones, they remind me of listening to AM radio. So to sum up, they make the crappy headphones that came with my sony discman sound good - don't get them, cheap doesn't always mean nasty, but in this case it has proved to be so.
