about the rating, but you tell me nothing at all about the product. What does it do? Why would people use it? What's the interface like?

Well the latest version of paltalk , has an auto update feature, once you have updated to the newest version before March of 2002, you could simply click on help from the main menu and click get the latest software and voila!! There you are the newest paltalk.
The help is non existent, so I suggest simply talking to users that use the program a lot; they are an unbiased group of people that can assist you. And you usually don’t have to put up with the immature know-nothings that populate the help rooms.
For all of its flaws (and they are many) Paltalk is a lot of laughs, now once they lock down their security (ANYTIME would be nice) they will actually do well.

I can see that this product has you rather upset :)
One thing that will help buyers is if you first give a brief overview of what it should do, and then clearly describe the problems that you are having with it.
