I love to shop at Macy's in the mall, so I figured to give the online store a try. I am no novice at online shopping, just hadn't tried Macy's yet. I purchased a leather jacket for a small person (size extra small) as a Christmas gift in November. I didn't receive the package until Christmas Eve and the leather jacket was just thrown in the box and it was a MEDIUM! Well, there was no way to fit that medium jacket on my friend so I had to return it. I sent it back at once and did not receive the correct size until MARCH!!! What a humiliating Christmas, and Macy's did not apologize once. If at least one of their customer service representatives told me the jacket was oversold, I could have ordered something in stock. It was a bad experience.
