I was intending to purchase a 2ct Marquise diamond, H colour and SI 2 clarity, which I expected to be eye clean. I selected a 2ct stone which appeared to meet my criteria and I placed an order.Insted of just filling my order,I was contacted by Rio, who sent me the gemmologists report, which said "This diamond has medium black inclusions at the pavilion which reflects in the crown as well as in the corner of the table. The diamond has small white inclusion in the crown near the girdle with open in it. As per our gemologist, this diamond is not eye clean as the inclusions are visible to the naked eyes".
He suggested another stone, and I also looked at the other stones available. I then asked for gemmologists opinion on the stone suggested and one other.Subsequently I bought one of them of which the gemmologists report stated "there are 3 very small black inclusions in the pavilion which reflects in the table as well in the crown. As per our gemologist, the diamond is 100% eye clean as the inclusions are not visible to the naked eyes. The diamond also possess amazing brilliance & luster which makes it looks brilliant".
On receiving the stone, I was delighted with it, and the gemmologists comments were very accurate. Both Rio and Franco were very helpful.The stone was delivered to the U.K. in line with the date promised.I would certainly recommend this company, and would certainly buy from them again.
