I truely liked being able to see the flowers that I was ordering. When calling a florist you never really know what you're paying for. Well I had decided to send flowers to my Mom and my sister for Mother's Day. I had order two of the same arrangement but had gotten the "large" version for my mom and the "small" version for my sister. I placed the order around 7 in the morning and they arrived at both places of work late that afternoon. The flowers were beautiful in both arrangements. However, my sister ended up with the larger version and my mom got snubbed with the smaller version. Not that either of them cared, they still thought the flowers were georgeous, but it's the fact that I paid for two specific things and they were mixed up. True both were coming from the same florist because my mom and sister work in the same area, but it's still careless. I e-mailed 1-800-Flowers and told them of the mix up. They appologized and said they are sending a 20% gift certificate. They were prompt in their response to my e-mail and made amends. Even though this mix up happened I will probably use them again. It's just so much easier to see what I'm ordering and their prices are fairly reasonable. Overall good experience. It at least provided a good laugh.
