Adagio is a special place to buy tea and a little bit more. Not only can you buy tea, but they offer tea cookies and other tea accessories. The cookies were very rich and filling, which was surprising because each cookie was very small.
Their website is laid out in a very organized manner, so you can choose the category of tea quickly and accurately. A very nice touch is that once you pick your flavor, you then get more options such as loose leaf tea or tea bags, and a choice for the size or amount of tea you need.
I really appreciated the descriptions, the background facts, the photos, and the origins of each tea. It helped greatly to make my decisions, as well as providing some interesting reading.
I have placed about four orders, and I was thrilled with almost every flavor of tea I picked. The black teas are the strongest and my favorite, but the green, white, and flavored teas are very good also. The variety of flavors will amaze and delight you, and keep you coming back for more. I want to try each and every flavor.
The prices of the teas are as varied as the flavors, so you can buy the least expensive or very expensive, whatever your budget allows. I buy a few cheaper teas, and pick one expensive tea per order, which gives me a nice variety.
The ordering is simple, and the delivery is adequate. Included in each order is a free sample which you get to choose. There is also a point system where eventually you get $10 off your order. I never had to call so I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I imagine the customer service is great.
I had one small problem with one of the free samples. It was labeled as a snack, but it was a tea that needed to be steeped first. In error I thought it was to be eaten like potato chips. Well, let's just say I will not make that mistake again!!!
As you get more familiar with the website, you discover many possibilities for reviews, gifts, tearooms, contests, coupons, and a monthly newsletter.
My overall satisfaction with Adagio Teas is extremely satisfied.
