Pros:Hey, it's a watch with CD quality music.
Cons:A bit bulky, not enough memory.
The Bottom Line: Consider it a good option if you're interested in both watch and MP3 player, it's portable and weight less. Think it twice if you want large amounts of memory.
Mp3 has become the favorite music format around the world. It helps you compress an entire selection of music, aprox. 10 CDs with 15 songs each, into a once computer-readable-only CD. Now, thank to the fast distribution of the .mp3 format many companies are designing and producing portable players, either CD-ROM or internal hard disk. One of such is our little friend, perhaps the smaller available in the market. It features normal playback, volume selection, forward & rewind, next & previous songs, shuffle, loop, loop & shuffle, 1 song loop, part of a song loop (selected easily by user), 4 predetermined equalization levels, clock, date, alarm & chronometer. It also displays the songs name (sadly, letter by letter) and can be programmed to display a short animation.
I have found it really useful. Jogging, hiking, cycling, walking and even resting, I carry my Casio with headphones in a little bag, also with a car connector kit.
A few things could be fixed: the amount of memory available (32Mb), respectable quantity due to the size; the way information is stored, some combinations of songs can't be correctly allocated in the memory slots; and the wristband, that easily absorbs sweat smelling like $%#$t.
Surely, Casio will release a replacement band made of resin. I even have confidence that a newer model, featuring more memory, will come soon (hopefully with the option to upgrade the WMP-1-1 instead of buying a new one).
By the way, the watch is not water proof, but can withstand mild rain. But anyway, is there any MP3 player completely waterproof?
Bottom line: recommended if you want to buy a music player & a watch but only have money for one item.
