So my friend got me a gift certificate to fogdog. So I used it towards a purchase of a grill. When I checked out and typed in my certificate code, the code was not working. So I had to call customer support and it took them a whole day to straighten things out. In the meantime, I found the same grill on another website for significantly cheaper. So I called to see if fogdog would match, and they replied that they would, but since I was using a gift certificate the price match wouldn't apply. Then I wanted to cancel my order and use the certificate towards another purchase, but I was told that would be too much of a hassle (which I assume is they didn't want to deal with a refund and reprocess). All in all, I used a $50 gift certificate to save $20 on a grill I could have gotten on another website.
