Cons:Difficult to install but what carseat isnt? Straps kind of hard to adjust.
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for a new booster seat and want to get the most bang for your buck, this is the seat for you.
My daughter FINALLY hit the magical forty pounds, just in time for my son to take over HER carseat! So, my husband and I went out to find a booster for Kelsey.
When faced with the all the choices, we chose the Century Breverra Premiere. It had all the things we needed. Five point harness, secure seating, holds a child up to sixty pounds, as required by the state of California and the material looked very durable. One of the major pluses is that it has the new anchoring system that newer cars are coming out with. In addition to hooking it up with your car's safety belt, it has a third strap that clips onto an anchor that many new cars are now made with. In other words, once you anchor it, that seat isn't going anywhere!
The best part was the price. If you shop well, you can get this booster seat for about $50 to $60. Not bad at all. We purchased ours at Toys R Us. We looked at all the more expensive ones and they mostly had more bells and whistles, like arm rests and cup holders. My daughter didn't really need them.
We have had great luck with the Century brand. My son's car seat was my daughter's, which was my nephew's before that. It has held up extremely well. My son's infant seat was also a Century. The Century SmartFit, which I have previously reviewed. I predict that this seat will be used on my son, who is currently one.
The only real drawbacks is that it can be tough to install. But, what car seat isn't? I haven't met an easy one yet. Also, if you don't have and older car and don't have the anchor system, that is kind of a downer and the strap for that just gets in the way. Other than that, I really don't have many complaints
If you are in the market for a good, reliable booster seat but can't afford the $100 and over jobs, I really, really recommend the Century Breverra Premiere.
