About Me:

Abracadabra dirt is gone. IT'S STILL HERE, One more try. The dirt wont leave :(

Pros:NOTHING
Cons:it didn't work at all
The Bottom Line: Stay away. It was a waste of time putting it together so that it wouldn't work.

A few weeks ago my wife and I took a look at the kitchen floor and decided it was dirty. Instead of getting on our hands and knees to clean it we went to Target and picked up one of the WetJets starter kits for about $25.00. When we got home I assembled it in a matter of five minutes (I could have done it faster if the cat stopped climbing all over the parts). Beside the mop itself and batteries it came with the cleaning solution and a change of 6 pads. We attached the first pad and we were good to go. My wife wanted the first try at it so why stop her. After about 3 minutes she noticed that the floor was not getting clean and the pad was only getting wet. I gave it a try and tried using it near the stove and counters. The only things it picked up were the cat’s hair and the cleaning solution. The dirt was still on the floor. I figured we were using it wrong so I checked the instructions again and I was right on track. I then tried the instruction of the tougher stains (squirt the cleaning solution on the stain and wait a few minutes) but the stain won. Besides not working the mop was sticking to floor and was hard to move around. I am by no means a weak person but I had to strain to move this thing. Also the cleaning solution was causing my wife to get a bad headache so we stopped using it and put it aside. After that we still had to clean the floor. Besides the dirt that was originally there the floor was not covered with a tacky film. We got out the Sun and Earth Orange cleaner we had, got on our hands and knees, and cleaned up the tacky residue form the WetJet and the dirt in less time than we were using the WetJet for. After two pads and an unsuccessful try at the WetJet Target took it back and put it in the pile of the other five that were returned for the same reason (IT DIDIN’T WORK). Save yourself time by buying a regular mop and a bucket.
