Pros:Very fast, a lot of memory, large screen, easy to operate, dvd/cdrw
Cons: price was high-
The Bottom Line: I love this laptop, wouldn't trade it for the world.
HP Pavilion ZT1130, I would recommend it for everyone. My old laptop was big and clunky, this was a big change for me. I ordered direct from HP.com in Jan '02. I paid 1400 at the time, which was a lot. There really aren't any cons about this machine, it's been working great for me since January, and I haven't had one problem with it. It came with it's own charger, dvd/cdrw-great for downloading songs off the internet and copying them to disk; watching dvds on the road is a blast, Celeron 1.13GHz which is very fast! 20GB,256mb tons of memory, I've downloaded a ton of stuff off the internet and I write college papers and save them all on here and I' still only using 4% memory, so 96% free! :) 14.1" TFT big screen, helps to prevent eye strain and squinting, which is important for me because I spend about 8 hours a day on it; Windows XP Home Edition is a fantastic operating system, a new updated look and more games.. which help when you're desperately trying to ignore your professor! LOL It's very easy to travel with; lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with a synaptics touchpad mouse, it's very easy to maneuver.. Overall, I would definately recommend this computer to anyone, whether you're a college student traveling with it, or just using it for home use, internet and games it's a great buy all around and I don't regret paying 1400, even though I complained, lol.
