I carried it from the US to India

Pros:Easy to setup and operate - the mp3 playback is the clincher
Cons:Power output is an issue and so is the disc changer.
The Bottom Line: Definitely a great buy and with the same system costing twice as much in India, it is a dream purchase. Excellent sound and looks.
I just fell in love with the looks and the ease of use. Compared to a Sony, the biggest plus here was the mp3 playback. None of the Sony systems support mp3.
The system recognises mp3 files within folders and plays them in an alphabetical sequence. There is however a problem in playing mp3 songs as the title is not read by the system.
Setup instructions in terms of how to develop the optimal sound in a room are also not adequate but with a little trial and error I could achieve great sound quality.
I also had some issues as the model I got did not have a multi voltage input and could run only on the 110 V input. Not very easy to get a high wattage voltage converter outside the US. They used to have this feature earlier and is also written about in the manual which seems a little dated.
I also had some problems within the first month of buying when a small plastic part broke and the system would not read the discs. Without an international warranty had to pay to get in repaired in India.
Panasonic has managed to build a superb product and have priced it really well for all the features it gives.
