Walgreens.com: They could charge XXX porn site rates and I would pay to use them!

Yes, I would pay to use this great website. But I don't have to because it's free! I use the Walgreens website on a regular basis, especially now that I've turned into my grandmother and I'm taking about five different prescriptions. Sorry, that's another story!
Walgreens.com lets you request refills, view your prescription history, and sends email notification when your prescriptions are ready. They have been very prompt in filling all my prescriptions - having them ready before the requested time.
Extra Service
A couple of weeks ago I noticed one of my prescriptions had no more refills. I could have phoned the doctor's office, but I noticed "Please allow extra time for us to contact your doctor for this refill" on my prescription history list and decided to see if Walgreens would really do that. I selected the date and time I needed the refill (I gave them a couple of days) and hit enter. Sure enough, two days later I received an email that my prescription was ready for pick up. I checked online and my prescription had been extended for 6 months. How convenient is that?
Prescription History
I have found the prescription history to be a valuable tool for me. Yesterday, before going to my gynecologist for my regular check-up I went to Walgreens.com and printed my prescription history to take with me. The nurse always asks about prescriptions and I didn't want to stuff my purse with pill bottles to take with me.
This detailed prescription history lists the drug name, date the prescription was filled/refilled, quantity and strength of drug. You can select the timeframe you want to display, up to 15 months. It is very simple to use this feature and it easily prints for you to take with you.
Before You Get Started
You can request a PIN in advance or receive it automatically after your first refill online. The "prescription ready" notification includes address, phone number, and business hours for pickup. I requested my PIN in advance and received it within a few days in the mail.
Electronic Reminders
Walgreens will also remind you via email when refills are needed. No more running out of a prescription! You set up your reminders and Walgreens does the rest. You can even add birthdays or other special occasions and they'll reminder you about those, too.
Lots of Good Information
The site has a searchable health library, features local specials, allows you to check drug interactions, and contains drug information and prices. It also has several first aid and emergency help topics. You can update your personal health information to include allergies or changes in your health that the pharmacist should know.
Shopping
Of course, you can shop online at Walgreens and check on your order status, as well.
Convenient and Easy to Use
The site is nicely designed, easy to navigate and provides useful information relevant to health and medication. I highly recommend this site. Thank you, Walgreens!
