Pros: At first, I was not thrilled...now I am.
Cons: There are smaller, thinner, prettier ones now, but for the price...it is great!
The Bottom Line: Great thing! Install MS transcriber...

Nicely made. Needs add on to expand...but I got a "slider" which is DO IT YOURSELF and found it to be great for use with the 128mb CF card I recovered from my prior clamshell unit. Got a modem for it which works fine for fax/email. Web pages are hard to view on small screen. Movies play wonderfully! Music works great! THE REAL CONTRIBUTION I HAVE HERE IS THIS: After fiddling around with it using the onscreen keyboard, I finally discovered an INCLUDED Micro$oft add on program called "transcriber" which adds handwriting recognition which is UNBELIEVABLE!! You can adjust the accuracy and speed of it and find settings for your own handwriting which results in almost 100% accuracy with CURSIVE (script) writing ANYWHERE on the screen (as opposed to Palm where you MUST write in a little box on the bottom). After I found that program, I now have "fallen in love" with this thing. More up-to-date models have followed, but when I bought it brand new (not refurb)for $300 (together with a $150 factory mail-in rebate which came after a couple of months) I find it entirely worth the price!
