Timex please get back to basics

The Bottom Line: If you have eyesight that can read tiny numbers, buy this watch. I have almost 20/20 vision, and the split times were unreadable. Thus, the watch was useless.
I have been looking for a good running watch since the band on my last timex from 1999 broke recently. I am still looking. Basically, all I want is a watch that stores multiple workouts, with the split and total elapsed times are readable. I am still looking. I have no idea why Timex and other running watch manufacturers cannot have one single option with these features, but I have pretty much exhausted myself with frustration. I tried this watch, but during a half marathon, I couldn't read my splits. The split time is WAY too small. I took this watch back and purchased another that was more expensive, but that watch only could handle one workout at a time. Useless to me.
Why is it so difficult for these manufacturers to give us what we need? This watch fails my reasonable standards. If you can read tiny split #'s then by all means by this watch. But I doubt the band will hold up, and timex is a big disappointment to me.
