Ever since I've made my first flight reservations with Expedia.com, I've never gone to anyone else. I've compared prices with other online flight reservation companies but I think Expedia offers better prices. Expedia.com has a very user friendly site that helps you find your flight, save the itinerary if you're not ready to buy, and when you're ready, the steps toward your purchase is so simple that before you know it, you've just purchased yourself a vacation. You're the one in control. And if for whatever reason you should have trouble with your navigation or purchase, they have a 1-800 number where you can contact somebody with a human voice who is more than happy to help you through.
My experience was last year before Thanksgiving. A friend and I were planning a brief trip to London, England for the Thanksgiving weekend. We got our dates mixed up and made reservations for flight and hotel on the wrong date. Once we realized that, we immediately called up Expedia.com, explained our situation, and they were very accommodating to our situation. We were able to book a flight and hotel without penalties or extra fees. I just had to make another purchase first before I was allowed to cancel the previous reservation without consequences. We were relieved and excited.
As I mentioned before, Expedia.com has a very user friendly interface when navigating and booking your flights. I especially love their calendar. Other sites make you search your own calendar which you might not have handy when planning your trip. Expedia.com provides it’s users a calendar that conveniently shows the users when they wish to take holiday.
I’ve only booked a hotel with Expedia.com once as mentioned above and it was a fine experience. The descriptions were not misleading and the picture they provided was what we generally got when we checked into our room.
I’ve not booked rentals for cars or cruises so I can’t give you a proper review or opinion.
