I have found the following to be particularly helpful:
ABG decoder - (RNpalm.com) you enter the pH, PaCO2 PaO2, HCO3 age and o2% and it analyzes the lab results for you.
Pedi-Dose - (read my comment)
STAT cardiac risk - I use this sometimes, it is OK (www.statcoder.com)
OB Pregnancy wheel (a freeware program somebody beamed me, works as well as the wheel, the email of the creator is slade@sladeandmegan.com)
MedCalc - http://medcalc.med-la.net - this has a lot of medical calculations on it (IV drip rade, glasgow coma scale, Crockroft equation or creatinine clearance)
Tarscon (just like the pocket one)
If there are any others you would recommend please email me at srettinger@excite.com

Pedi-Dose (Reply to this comment)

Another helpful "free" program (actually charityware) is Pedi-Dose, a Family practice resident beamed this to me. It is awesome. I can punch in a kids weight (in Kg or lbs.) and then click on the RX tab and it computes the dose of medication. Also does some PALS computations. Anyway, sorry I don't know where it came from, but I do recommend it (as they always say it is not a substitute for clinical judgment).
