WolfCamera.com helped me make my foray into the world of "real" cameras. Wolf offers a wide selection of cameras, lenses, and accessories on their website. They also feature online specials, rebates, and coupons.
Easy to Compare Products
There is a lot of information on their site, but it is organized so that products can easily be located.
Their site allowed me to sort cameras by type, cost, and brand. I first selected the "SLR" option and viewed a list of available cameras. Next, I viewed by brand, and finally by price.
I then performed a side-by-side comparison after I had narrowed down my selection.
Great Way to Shop For Cameras
I liked being able to compare exact features, prices, options, and special deals. I could take my time and not feel like I was inconveniencing anyone (as I usually do at the store). Believe me, I had spent a lot of time in the store asking a whole bunch of dumb questions.
After narrowing down my choices to a Nikon and a Canon, I called a friend of mine who is very knowledgeable about cameras. She confirmed that the deal I had found was a good one and she personally recommended the Nikon, her favorite. That was all I need to confirm my decision.
My Purchase
I bought a package deal on a Nikon N-80 that included a case, 2 lenses, filters, film, batteries, and Wolf Camera discount coupons.

By ordering online I wouldn't have to pay sales tax, and on a $600 purchase that made a big difference. I opted for FedEx 2-Day shipping, placed my order, and waited for my package to arrive.

My package arrived on time and in great condition. The merchandise was carefully packed to protect it from any potential shipping hazards. I was like at kid on Christmas morning as I tore through the box and pulled out my treasures!

What About Service?
The Wolf Camera store personnel have helped me with questions that have come up during my learning process with my new camera. They very patiently asked the right questions to determine the problem and told me how to fix it. (I used their website to look up the location and phone number of the local store.)
I definitely got the best of both worlds with Wolf Camera. Now if I can just learn how to take good photographs!
