I need to get this book for my little charge. She would love it. She told me this year for Halloween she wants to be a witch like me. However i think that fairy princess with a magic wand will overtake that idea :)

I have several friends with children that NEED this book!
I loved where you said:
magic is neither black nor white, the energy tapped into is the same whatever the purpose, it is the intent behind the magic which makes the difference.
I have used that same phrase - nearly verbatim - when folks ask me (in an annoyingly lilting voice) if I am a good witch or a bad witch / use black magic / white magic , etc.
Once - to a Jehovah's Witness with whom I was having a lovely conversation at my front door (I'm NEVER rude, I always listen, chat and then politely thank them for stopping by) - One of them asked if I was a good witch or bad witch - I replied ... Are you a Good Witness? or a Bad Witness? - It shut him up.
