doesn't like WD for some reason. I had a small old used WD HD die but it was from the pleistocene and I was running it on a linux router , i.e. 24/7 so I don't feel TOO bad about it.
This new drive sounds yummy especially if you diy.

Are you running XP or Windows 2000 with this drive?
(I still use FAT32), So I'd also mention that FAT 32 is limited to a maximum partition size of 32 mb. Now that 80gb, 100gb and 200gb drives are common, its worth reminding people of the volume limits with FAT32.
