Pros: DOES NOT SKIP, Does Not Skip, Does Not Skip!
Cons: Not as loud as a cd in the main stereo
The Bottom Line: Its got durability, it withstands alot of shock, dosnt skip, lacks a little power, but does a good job in delivering cd's. I say buy it.

| Syntax's Full Review: Pioneer CDX-FM1257 Car CD Changer |
I live for my car stereo. I have some nice equipment in my car.. and let me tell you. I mounted this cd changer in my trunk on a board beside my amps and directly in front of 2 12" subs in an enclosed box. These speakers put out bass that will hurt your ears, loosen screws on my car and actually knock the rear view mirror off the front window and this Changer does not skip!
I was amazed by this.. I thought for sure it would skip when I turned my stereo all the way up.. The only downside is you can deffinately notice a loss in power (loudness)
when you change between the changer and the stereo unit..
Which is a downside for me since playing Bass Cd's I tend to like to turn it up full blast.. Which isnt possible on my stereo, because I could damage speakers, however the cd changer can be turned up full blast and I dont get even close to the same ammount of sound.
