Among the multiplicity of online toy stores we frequent, eToys.com is a favorite. My shopping relationship with them stems back prior to their affiliation with KB toys. In fact smarterkids.com and etoys.com are two of the early shopping online...Return to opinion

I actually interviewed for a web design job at E-Toys while I was on the hunt for my current job back in 1999. They turned me down due to lack of experience. Less than a year later, E-Toys bottomed out and ended up getting bought out by someone else. I realized that if I had been accepted, it would have been an extremely stressful job that ended in disappointment.
But instead I work for NASA. Looks like God knows what he's doing, eh?

It isn't the eToys that we 'knew'. KB bought the affiliation (or whatever the technical word for it is). However the merchandise and service has worked for us. :)

You know I think I almost cried when eToys closed shop and then when they reopened -- ha, like you said, ya right -- I was so skeptical. The bruise healed slightly, mostly because of MIL's pushing, and alas we returned. I must admit that there is still a bitter aspect within me toward the whole ordeal but a toy is a toy and when the deal is good, the site workable, and the need... the shopper in me gives in. **lol

.... that you like the new eToys. I was a huge fan of the old eToys and have been mourning the loss. I haven't wanted to use the new one because, well, they can't fool me, I know it's not the "real" eToys...mostly I do Amazon/Toys R US.
I'll put eToys back on the list.
