I, too, am having spotty system with this mobo. I'm going to write about it in this section with my experience with this 4 weeks old mobo.

I'd advise against buying barebones PCs in "kits". It's better to choose each component individually so that you are assured of getting the exact component that you want. Usually, kits contain no-name generic power supplies which has probably been the root of 75% of all problems with the ECS K7S5A. This is because this board is very picky about power supplies and is prone to failure with nothing but high-wattage name-brand units. Glad you finally got everything worked out. It's a great board for the money. I've got two rigs running this board in my house right now.
