Buying:
First off buying things from Half.com can be cheaper then even ebay! Because it's not an auction, but still individual users selling products, you can purchase products at the lowest price. Say for example I wanted to buy a DVD. I can search for the DVD on half.com and it will send me to the page with all the people selling that DVD on one page, ordered in the lowest price, and only the top 5 lowest price is listed on this main page (in 4 seperate conditions). You know what your getting!
I've bought so much from Half.com and have never been dissatisfied.
Selling:
Selling is great! I've sold many things on Half.com and the best part is it doesn't cost me anything to get listed! They just taking out a commission when your item is sold! Seller even gets reimbursted by Half.com for shipping!
Shipping Rates:
Half.com has a standard for shipping so you won't get ripped off by sellers overcharging for shipping rates (I bought a .99c item (CD) on ebay, had to pay $5.00 in shipping and when I received the package there was a .49c stamp on there, unbelievable!) And Half.com reimburses all shipping charges!
Delivery:
Well when I purchace a DVD, I usually have it sent though MediaMail, which takes about a week to get to my home. All the sellers are pretty good about comfirming and sending their items in a timely matter. I've received DVD's before Half.com expected them to ship it. Now that's service for ya!
Half.com is higly recommended, and yet to do me wrong!
