Pros: The picture on the can looks yummy...
Cons: Tastes nasty and could possibly ruin your sex life.
The Bottom Line: Stick with the original and avoid cheese specks in your Spam.

Last Friday was a special day (our 27th wedding anniversary) for my husband and myself and I wanted to surprise him with his favorite meal. Most anniversaries have been spent eating out, but this year I wanted to prepare the meal and if everything went well I hoped to get lucky later in the evening. We’ll call my husband Carl (his real name) and refer to myself as me just to keep this simple. Carl’s favorite dish is anything with Spam in it or burgers on the grill made with Spam.
My menu consisted of Spam burgers, homemade potato salad (no onions) and for dessert, a lime green jello mold shaped like a heart. Sounds like a fool-proof menu. As I was doing my shopping I accidentally picked up a can of Spam with Cheese instead of my usual brand of Less Sodium Spam . If you’re a cheese lover like myself this doesn’t sound bad and could save you from having to add cheese when the burgers are about ready.
I finished my anniversary dinner in record time and Carl and I are sitting down to eat, knowing this is his first time eating Spam with Cheese I let him take the first bite. My husband has never been one to just eat something even if he hates it and not say something. “ What in the hell is this in my Spam?“ were Carl’s words exactly as he spew Spam everywhere.
What Is Spam With Cheese?
Spam with cheese comes in a 12 oz can and is manufactured by Hormel foods for a limited time only. Special ingredients include pork, mechanically separated chicken, american process cheese, milk, cheese cultures, enzymes, water, cream, sodium phosphate, modified potato starch and sugar sodium nitrate. And to think I actually fed this to my beloved on our anniversary.

Should You Try Spam With Cheese
If you’re a die-hard Spam lover and enjoy little specks of cheese embedded in your meat, then you must try it. As for myself, it is the nastiest thing to ever come out of a can with the except of Barbecue Beenie Weenies. For all Spam lovers out there whom haven’t tried this product, stick with an original flavor and just say no to cheese in Spam .
