(This is my first review in two years. It is not exactly my best review ever. Please read some of my other reviews. They are not this bad I promise!)
I remember when a computer with a pentium processor and 200 mhz was considered blazing fast. Now days you could barely type a document with that speed. Computers processor speed is not even being measured in megahertz but in gigahertz! wow. Even though the first gigahertz computer came out close to two years ago I am still impressed.
I guess I should actually start talking about the computer I am reviewing. You are probably getting tired of my rambling.
To start with the Dell dimension 4300 has a very fast processor. It is a pentium 4 with 1.7 ghz. I know that you could have looked up the product specs on your own but I wanted to show concrete evidence of it's speed. I could tell you that it is as quick as lightning but that would not really mean anything. I like to go with the details.
Get ready I am going to give more statistics. This Dell dimension has 128 mb of sdram and a 20 gb hardrive. The ram will be plenty for all your software and will help speed up a lot of functions on your computer. The hard drive is a decent size but it is not the largest out there. If you store a lot of mp3s on your computer I advise upgrading to 40gb.
Sure the computer is great for doing work related tasks like typing and storing information but it is also great for games. I love games. I don't know why people think computer games are just for kids but they are not. They can provide a fun distraction from a stressful day and can be a great hobby. The 1.7 gigahertz processor allows detailed first person shooters to be displayed in their full glory. This computer is a must have for pc game lovers.
