I’m not really a Luddite, but I have been very slow to join the cell phone revolution.

I had an interesting experience buying my cellphone with a new plan with letstalk.com. They f-up on my delivery....Since I'm changing phone carriers from AT&t to SPRINT and I wanted to keep my old number my service was cut-off thursday night; panicked and p/o because I don't have a landline I immediately called letstalk to get a overnight SATURDAY delivery, since fed ex and ups doesn't deliver in a residential area on weekends I had to pay $29.99 for it to be a saturday priority delivery. Called them 10 times all day friday to make sure I'll get my phone the next day talked to an agent at letstalk and they guaranteed that the shipment went out friday afternoon it will get to me the next day saturday. 5 agents told me that in their system I will get my phone on saturday. Well what do you know early in the morning like around 8 I went to my cousins house to use her phone and called UPS to track my package...they said that the package is gonna be delivered to me monday I'm like WHAT!!!! I explained to them that I paid $29.99 for it to be delivered SATURDAY and they're telling me that it's not coming till monday...OMG I freaked out, 3rd day not having a phone I am ready to kill someone j/k. I immediately called letstalk to find out what the hell is going on, the agent tried to lie and said that it was supposed to be a saturday delivery and I told her i just spoke to UPS and they said that the label indicates next day air delivery which is the next following bussiness day...she checked again and finally admit that the label said next day air...they offered to give me my money back but I don't care I want my phone; get this they tried to blame it on the computer...yeah go figure. Finally got my phone monday morning guess what the phone wasn't program correctly I had to call nextel customer care eventhough it's SPRINT to help me trouble shoot my problem...the agent at nextel said that letstalk didn't program my phone right....to make this loooooonnnnng story short let's talk is unrealiable, bunch of liars. The only good thing I can say is they have most of the phones in stock. Thanks a lot letstalk for giving 4 days of hell.

I bought three phones (supposedly in stock) with $200 rebates each (payable in 4 months). Phones took two months to arrive (out of stock). Mailed in my three identical rebates four months later, as we agreed. Two were accepted while the third was denied??? I took them over one month to "receive" my rebate submissions and it has now taken EIGHT week after that and I have still not seen a dime out of $600 owed me! Getting close to a year total now. AVOID THESE JERKS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! I'm reporting them to everybody I can think of!

Happened upon letstalk.com and did a google search to identify this company's reliability - as I'm in the market for new cell phone and plan (it's time to renew...). Thanks for informative review -- addresse what I wanted to know from a perspective that I deem trustworthy.

The length of the review and this comment in particular make the review seem fake: "As always, I started at MyPoints and they sent me to LetsTalk.com." MyPoints and LetsTalk in one sentance makes the review sound like an ad.

A nice read,but what about payment methods? Do they take MC,Visa,money orders,checks,etc? That would be very useful to know. Also,what shipping options do they have? What range of plans do they have? Can you get prepaid as well?
