I purchased the 340 MB Microdrive when I was frustrated with continually having to download my pictures onto my laptop. I have a 2.1 Megapixel Cannon, and I can't stand the small CF card (8 megs) that comes with it. I went shopping and saw other CF cards that could only hold up to 128 MB and were nowhere near the amount of space that my Microdrive can hold. I can hold 3000 low resolution pictures (suitable for printing on my SONY UP-DP10) or 280 VERY high resolution pictures. There is even a higher capacity 1GB model! The package comes with a travel kit (PCMCIA adapter, case, and software for connecting to a WINDOWS 3.1/95 machine). I say go for it! You won't regret it!
