I have an orange savings account with ING, and I really like it. The rates are much higher than the .5% I was getting at Washington Mutual before, and I haven't seen any hidden fees.

I opened my account with ING within the past month. They offer very competitive rates (currently 2% APY on Orange Savings, as opposed to 1/2% at my other bank), they charge NO fees, and there is no minimum to open! The referral program is great, too. If you plan to open a savings account, email me for a referral. You'll receive $25 for opening your account, and I'll receive $10 referral bonus. Also, they have great rates on Home Equity lines of credit, and you'll get $100 bonus if you open one of those through me! ING Direct offers such a simple and yet effective savings account with an excellent yield (currently 2.00% APY). It is amazing how few people seem to know about it. I have sent referrals to my friends, and they too are amazed by what they find in ING Direct.

I open a new account with ING recently, and i was worry about some hidden fees. And like they said there is really NO fee, and NO minimum (well 1$ minimum actually...). It takes about 2 days to transfer money to this account. Like other users said, ING has a referral program where you get $25 for a new saving acct (i get $10), and $100 for a home equity line of credit (i get $25). I was looking for a place to put some money without locking it into a CD for a few years. I looked at ING Direct a while back, but was just not ready to make the move. If I knew the process was so simple, I would have done it a while ago. I did everything online. The process is pretty simple, as many others have already mentioned. Within 2 business days after signing-up I was able to complete my confirmation and access the account. It was a pleasant surprise to see a $25 bonus deposited in my account thanks to the referral I accepted from another member.

I recently opened an account with ING and have been very happy with them so far. Their Orange Savings Account pays 2% interest, making it the best money market account in the country. There's no minimum to open, no minimum balance to maintain, and no fees.

I have had no problems at all with my ING account. Set up was easy, and the bonus was deposited right away. You only have to deposit a dollar to get started!
I also have a VirtualBank account, which I think is a little better. They have a much better user interface. They assign you a "personal banker" and give you a phone and fax number. You can also use their message system to communicate with your banker. I have referrals left with both banks if you are interested in signing up, and getting free money.
