It is nice that Nikon can provide us with decent quality optics at a very low price. But I wonder that how much more this lens would cost if it had an aperture ring? Personally I prefer lenses with the old fashioned aperture ring because those lenses work so nice with the older Nikon bodies also.
My wish is that Nikon would make all their lenses with an aperture ring. I do not think that the price would be much higher. Let's forget the hole idea of G-series.
