While stroller shopping I was with my husband and my mother in law. You should have seen her face when she saw how strollers had changed over the years. She had the most fun checking out all of the strollers, walking around the store with them. She played with the cup holders, shock absorbers, opened and closed each stroller, and crashed into many items. I am not sure if she was trying to test the durability of the stroller or if it was an accident. Nonetheless, when my husband and I chose the Evenflo Trendsetter Travel System, she gave two thumbs up.

What I liked about the stroller before I bought it:
Since my mother in law had several crash tests, I figured that the stroller could stand up to many objects. It was easier to purchase a travel system because it had the car seat included, so I wouldn't have to make separate purchases. I liked the fact that it had shock absorbers for those interesting terrains and maneuvered easily. The cup holder was an added feature inc are we were walking around the mall and decided to get a drink. It looked pretty comfortable and best of all it was on sale!

What I like about the stroller now that I have used it:
I still love all of the features listed above. We try and go out on walks everyday and the shocks really do help with all of the nooks and crannies in the road/sidewalk, wherever our journey takes us. I haven't really used the cup holder yet, but I am sure that will come later. I like that the car seat is so versatile, how it can plug right into the car and then sets so easily into the stroller. I love the fact that I can see my baby while pushing him. I think this is one of the reasons why I like going on walks so much, because I can see him looking at all of the interesting sights outside of our home. The car seat and stroller are very easy to clean, a necessity since getting dirty is inevitable. Everything unsnaps and can be put into the washing machine, an easy task.

It is a bit difficult, folding up the stroller. It isn't too heavy, although getting my arms around on each side to engage the locks is not so easy. It is very easy to open though. It is a bit awkward carrying the car seat. I never know how to hold it. I just grab it and try to be as comfortable as possible. While it has a handle for carrying, if I hold it the wrong way it bumps my leg. All I need is about twenty pounds of baby and car seat hitting my leg. :) What has worked best for me is holding the bottom of the car seat, stabilizing the seat on my belly and holding on tight. This way I can see my baby and get a few smiles out of him.

This of course brightens my day, what would I do without this travel system?
