Although it's only my 15-year-old and myself, we have a 'family viewing night' and a video policy like yours, too! One week it's my choice, the next week it's my son's. We choose what we want to eat individually, however (you know how it is with teenage boys-- or you will, soon).
Thanks for this tip on Empire. We usually use Blockbuster or Hollywood Video, since we have a membership at each. I haven't tried an online store for either rental nor to purchase videos, cds, or books. I'll keep this one in mind, though, since it seems you guys have done so well with it.
BTW, 2buzy, thank you for your words of encouragement and 'sympathy' on my editorial. I prefer doing the positive, uplifting variety, however, sometimes it's more important that we address the not so pleasant subjects, too. You helped make it better with your comment, as always. I had gone here prior to joining the Columbia DVD Club.
When I've purchased the required number from them (at club prices) then I think I'll switch.
