Well, it's just possible that your questions weren't the ones I tried to ask it. Have you had any luck designing a staircase with a 180-degree turn?
By the way, it's not a negative review. The rating is "average," and much of the content is positive. Get real.

In spite of this review (which is 1 1/2 years old), I purchased Punch Pro home designer and can honestly say I am delighted! This product is far and away superior to Borderbund's 3d Home Architect levels 4 or 5. The documentation is excellent, the program is very powerful, so it is complex. Looking in the manual, it was easy to find the answers to any problems I saw. I have level 4.5.1.

I bought Punch several versions ago and found it to be complicated and unintuitive. Without a real pressing need for the software, I returned it.
Now that I am facing an addition and designer fees ranging from $500 to $1500. If it can get the job done for $100, I'm going to give it a try. It looks like there's a market on eBay for used copies...

I really wish I'd had some way to research it before I bought it. It's way over my head...
Thanks for the comment

I have a good idea what to expect if I get this software (which is another way of saying "I'm not gonna get it," even if I decide I need a home-design package).
