Good review.
I've visited their site and read many reviews about Netflix and since 2000, the only way that they work is to charge you a monthly fee, until you cancel. Sorry that happened to you. It's doubly bad that you didn't even get any DVD;s for those months.

... fan of NetFlix, but your review doesn't surprise me in the least.
I pretty much figure that all of these places who want to give you something "free", yet collect your credit card, are intending to bang you with some small print. I think NetFlix is a good service, but their marketing is possibly too aggressive.
