About Me: I'm Eason. I live for my computer and gaming consoles.

Two Words: Holy Moly!

Written: Jan 22 '01 (Updated Jan 22 '01)
Pros:Graphics. Sound. Design. The fact that I have one.
Cons:Should have come with DVD remote and vertical stand.
The Bottom Line: TRY REALLY HARD TO GET IT! IT IS SOOOOO COOL! BUY IT!

Have you ever felt you were very privaledged? Well, I hate to brag, but I am! I love my PS2! And I think I am the only one in my itty bitty town to have gotten one! Hear my story:

"Santa, who we all know is a single mom, ran out and was buying all of my little stuff I wanted since I knew and she knew that a PS2 wouldn't work out. Well, Santa was at Toys 'R Us, and asked an employee "You don't happen to have any Playstation 2's lying around do you?" Well he of course...said no. So she did all of her shopping, for Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for me and Final Fantasy 9, and other cool-minor stuff compared to the PS2. When she was checking out. She overheard the manager say something about PS2s...well she murmured under her breath 'Yeah, that's what I wanted for that boy named Eason.' Well, soon enough, the manager had heard her, and snuck up in her face and said 'Are you sure?' She gawked at him. Her eyes opened wide. He led to her to the outside of his clear office, and made a few calls on a small phone. It turns out...number 60 on the preorder list never showed up. And I have a PS2. Thanks Santa!

Anyway, let's talk about the system! The graphics never ceased to amaze me! I played all kinds of games on it and never so much as had a problem. I did have a wee bit o trouble with the DVD function on the console. It needed a remote control. Simple, a controller isn't made for you to memorize that the pause button is actually the triangle!

I really could have done with a vertical stand IN the blue bow that came with the PS2, because I want to stand it up. But....it can easily be wedged between the TV and the entertainment center wood, just don't cover up the nice little fan in the back of the console, since it is working really hard to get you your good graphics since you deserve it! I LOVE THIS CONSOLE!
