...on several of your reviews tonight, and I'm enjoying them. I must have read this book years ago, or maybe I saw the movie...the story is familiar to me. But now I'm thinking I need to go back and read (re-read?) the book.

Nice review!

I've heard much about A Lesson Before Dying. But, this title has eluded me.

Until now.

a while back and some parts were very sad. It makes me very weak to think of this era in time when people used others as slaves.

Jane Pittman did a fine job writing it and you did a fine job reviewing it. Thanks.

Beautiful job, even with working around the filter. Hate it that you have to in order to post your review.

I didn't give this book much of a chance, really. Guess it didn't hook me from the get go, but I'm glad you reviewed it. Thanks for teling me what I missed out on!
