I ordered a small item and a bonus package - a tote bag with a number of things in it. The tote was free with "any order". As I don't usually go to CVS I thought it was a good opportunity to try out the online service. Boy am I disappointed.

I'm sure you would have believed me if you had been in the store at the time. I was not feeling half as "nice" as I was when I wrote this epinion. Perhaps your CVS is the exception, as I have had incredibly poor service at several and now do all my business with Rite Aid and Eckerd offline and Drugstore.com online.

I don't believe this story. I work at a CVS/Pharmacy store and we are always instructed that if it is an online purchase, the customer needs to call 1-800-SHOP-CVS as the store and online are not the same division.

It is evident that the person exaggerated this story.

CVS a lot in Appomattox but the new manager is a real toad. He runs the store like a petty king and gives the customers and his employees a lot of grief.

I recently returned an un-opened item that had been purchased several months ago. At the time I got two of them, used the first one, realized I did not like it, and decided to take the other back. The manager toad was quite condescending to me because I did not have a receipt and lectured me on the importance of keeping them. I wanted to shove the item up his nose sideways but wanted my $40 bucks even more! I got my credit but I try not to shop there unless necessary.

Drugstore.com is excellent and have great prices on prescriptions as well.

not good at all! I am sorry for your bad experience and thank you for the warning.

I think I will stay away from this site and keep ordering from drugstore.com where the customer service is simply amazing.
