Pros: You can get through this book in 5 minutes.
Cons: I can't tell if it was a book written for children or adults.
The Bottom Line: There isn't enough content in this book to rationalize the $10 price tag, but if you are in the library, it is worth a 5 minute diversion.

| onequest's Full Review: Buddhism for Sheep |
After reading the Tao of Pooh, by Benjamin Hoff, I picked up a fun book by Chris Riddell, called Buddhism for Sheep.
Buddhism for Sheep uses cartoons of sheep to symbolize the fundamental beliefs of Buddhism, including living, foolish thinking, enlightenment, and reality.
My favorite cartoon depicts a sheep that had just won "Best of Breed" and had a sold sign stamped on its back. The lesson was, "Misfortune accompanies fortune." Another example of Riddell's twisted sense of humor was a cartoon that shows a sheep gazing in to a butcher shop's window display of lamb chops. The lesson is, "It is necessary to gain the insight that life is impermanent."
If you have 5 minutes at the library, pick up this fun book, but I wouldn't spend $10 for it at the bookstore.
