Pros: Will Smith and Tommy Jones
Cons: Everything else
The Bottom Line: MIIB lost 100% of the freshness and humorous wit of the first movie.

If you think this movie is going to be funny based on what you see from the trailers, guess what? The trailer has already shown you the best parts of the movie. The rest of it is uninteresting and definitely not funny.
Whoever wrote the script for this movie did it because a sequel was in the works, rather than making a sequel because there's a already script for it (like the Star Wars prequel, for example). It's painfully obvious that the plot was written so that Tommy Lee Jones can return as Smith's partner, but they did such a horrible job at it that what you end up with is strained humor at best--- and you end up laughing not because the film is funny, but because you think it 'should' be funny, just so you can delude yourself that you didn't waste your money on this pitiful movie.
The plot is pretty much non-existent-- after 10 minutes of watching the movie, you can step outside for an hour, come back, and you won't miss a thing (except maybe the lame jokes and pathetic attempt at humor). Watch the first and last 10 minutes, and there's your plot for MIIB. What's in between is Tommy Jones and Will Smith running around for the sole purpose of putting themselves in situations that should've made you laugh (like when the talking dog barks to the song 'who let the dogs out')--- yes... most of the humor is THAT corny. You may like this movie if you think Adam Sandler is hilarious-- in that moronic wouldn't-it-be-funny-if-I-puke-in-your-sandals kind of humor.
