| moonwalker84's Full Review: Nokia 5110 |
I have had this phone for several years, and have been thoroughly satisfied with it. It has never failed me (except for that one time I dropped it in the toilet) has long battery life, the fun game "Snake" (my high score is 600!), and a handy alarm and calculator. It is also very small and convieniently sized for your pocket.
In fact, the only con you might find in this phone is that there is no support for extra ringtones, as there is on many other Nokia models.
Teenagers may want to give this a miss, as the 5110 is growing increasingly uncool. Most youngsters have a 3310 or up, which are actually quite good models, but just too expensive and un-necessarily luxurious for me. I mean, I just want to SMS and make calls, not play Pinball. And Snake was just fine how it was without the so-called "Snake 2".
I suppose you might call the 5110 the bare essentials: nothing too fancy, no bells & whistles, just everything you need in a mobile. The family station wagon of the mobile world, if you will. After all, as long as it makes/recieves calls and has long battery life, what does it matter?
I could easily recommend the 5110, which I've found very reliable and convienient over the years. Ideal for the user who just wants a damn phone.

About Me: I wrote these reviews when I was younger, they're pretty embarassing. Oh well.
