Pros: drop dead gorgeous convertible, fast as blazes, passes with authority...big time
Cons: Interior not up to par with Honda for instance, gas mileage pretty poor
The Bottom Line: Most curvatious vehicle I have ever owned, surpasses the Subaru SVX I had, just nothing compares for the money. New Corvette is the only thing better.

Have owned this black convertible for about a year, got it at a great price and it was worth every penny. I added a Ram Air Predetor hood from SunCoast Creations, and some 18 inch wheels and tires. It has a black top that retracts flawlessly, so easy with just a touch of a button after unlocking two clasps at the top. Have had more compliments on the looks and also the sound of this car than any other I have owned.
I have removed the cats, and added a chip, and had some head work done and have a catback two chamber flowmaster muffler with twin 3.5 inch chrome tips, which act as trumpets. This car I must admit is LOUD now, and that is just the way I like it. It will leave most any street car in the dust. It will run with a new Corvette, which costs over three times what I paid for this F-body. I had always been a Mustang guy, have had six of them. And this Trans Am puts them all to shame in the go dept. and looks too. The transmission seems very strong, I have broken three automatic trans in my Mustangs, and this 700R4 takes a beating and never misses a beat. I am very impressed with this GM product. The looks and power pulled me away from Ford. With the top down, and the two chamber flowmaster pipes blasting away, I rarely turn on the radio. Would much rather listen to the exhaust, especially under over-passes, lol
Anyway, if you want a car that books, and that will still get 22 to 25 miles per gallon if you take it easy, (really have to poke along to get that) then this is your car.
